About the summit
The International Disaster Response & Recovery Summit will convene state leaders, emergency management professionals and international representatives for a collaborative event on strengthening disaster response and recovery.
Hosted at Florida International University in partnership with the Adam Smith Center for Economic Freedom, the Summit will showcase Florida’s nationally recognized emergency management capabilities while creating an opportunity for partners to learn from Florida’s experience managing complex, large-scale disasters and exchange best practices that can strengthen preparedness around the world.
